MIX Active Camp + Great Polish Cities
MIX is a proposal for joining a one week active camp (Adventure, Survival, RPG camp) with a cultural programme. On one hand you can meet new friends and experience large doses of adrenaline, on the other hand you can also see the most important Polish cities and monuments.
Activities and places worth seeing
Cracow - a city which is called the cultural capital of Poland and Europe, and was placed on the UNESCO World Heritage list. The heart of the city is its Market Square, where artists, painters, musicians and students gather, making hundreds of pubs and joints teem with activity day and night.
Oświęcim - it's a place that has to be seen during a visit in Poland. A museum of the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp, where the Nazis have murdered millions of Jews, Poles, Gypsies and Russians.
Warszawa - Its historical centre was placed on the UNESCO World Heritage list. Almost entirely destroyed during the Second World War it was rebuilt, and today is a veritable tourist attraction.
Gdańsk - a thousand-years-old city, the cradle of Solidarity, a required visit during a stay on Pomorze. Beautiful monuments and renovated tenement houses are only some of many attractions in Gdańsk. Especially noteworthy are the famous organs at the Oliwa Cathedral and the St Mary's Street, with its unique atmosphere.
Toruń - the birthplace of Nicolaus Copernicus, famous from over 300 monuments firmly ingrained in the history of European art. The layout of the market square and its adjoining streets has not changed since 700 years.
Malbork - the castle of the Teutonic Order in Malbork is awe-inspiring - it is the largest gothic stronghold in Europe. It consists of three castles surrounded by separate fortification, and is spread on a surface of approx. 20 ha .
Day by day itinerary
1st day Cracow
Arrival to Cracow to one of the Active camps. Sightseeing.
2nd day Kraków/Oświęcim
Before noon - sightseeing, afternoon - a trip to Oświęcim and then to Warsaw.
3rd day Warsaw
An all-day sightseeing in Warsaw.
4th day Malbork/Toruń
Sightseeing in Toruń and Malbork.
5th day Gdańsk
Arrival to Gdańsk, sightseeing in Tricity.
6th day Gdańsk
A day to be used as our guests see fit, with an option of a sea voyage on the Gdańska Bay. In the evening - departure.
