City Breaks

Gdansk

Gdańsk is a thousand-years-old city, the cradle of Solidarity, a required visit during a stay on Pomorze. Beautiful monuments and renovated tenement houses are only some of many attractions in Gdańsk. Especially noteworthy are the St. Mary's Church, the famous organs at the Oliwa Cathedral and the St Mary's Street, with its unique atmosphere. Gdańsk, in connection with the bordering Sopot and Gdynia forms a single metropolitan agglomeration, called the Tricity. Gdańsk has an international airport with direct flights of low-fares airlines to London, Copenhagen and many German cities.
