Windsurfing and Diving Baltic Sea
Gdańska Bay is a perfect place for windsurfing and diving. The Hel Penisula, which is a narrow strip of land north of Gdańsk is one of the three most windy places in Europe, with a large shallow coastal belt - perfect for learning windsurfing, whereas the wrecks left after the Second World War are an exciting diving target. Close vicinity of Tricity (that is, Gdańsk, Gdynia and Sopot agglomeration) means that it's possible to visit beautiful monuments in this thousand-years-old city, see the cradle of Solidarność or spend an enchanting night in a popular health resort - Sopot.
Activities and places worth seeing
Windsurfing - a sport with an amazing contact with water and wind. The Hel Peninsula and Pucka Bay are a true windsurfer's Mecca, with tens of equipment rental points, shops, windsurfing schools and primarily with its great natural conditions. The shallow bottom of the Pucka Bay (approx. 1-1.5 m) for a distance of approx. 200-300 m from the coast, 300 windy days a year, and on the other side of the peninsula open sea with waves make it a perfect place for any type of windsurfing. We provide wet suit and equipment rental, individual or group courses.
Kitesurfing - a new sport of sailing on a surfboard with a kite has made its home on the Polish coast for some time. Kitesurfing is speed, wind, water and jumps dozens of meters high. It's adrenaline and amazing experiences. We provide wet suit and equipment rental, individual or group courses.
Diving - in the Gdańska Bay is an exciting meeting with history. We offer diving at wreck sites, remains after the Second World War which lie at a depth of even only a few meters. An all-day diving trip may be combined with sea fishing. We provide instructors, training and equipment rental.
Gdańsk -a thousand-years-old city, the cradle of Solidarity, a required visit during a stay on Pomorze. Beautiful monuments and renovated tenement houses are only some of many attractions in Gdańsk. Especially noteworthy are the famous organs at the Oliwa Cathedral and the St Mary's Street, with its unique atmosphere. Gdańsk has an international airport with direct flights to London, Copenhagen and many German cities.
Gdynia, Sopot - these cities in connection with Gdańsk form the so-called Tricity, a one large metropolitan agglomeration. Sopot is a health resort famous from its Pier, a largest wooden construction in Europe, and its night life in hundreds of pubs gathered around the main Monte Cassino Street. Gdynia is a vigorous city with a developing yachting marina, ideal for large shopping.
